Nightbreed, or First Brick at Midian (Patreon)

In 1990, author-cum-filmmaker Clive Barker released his much anticipated follow-up to the seminal classic Hellraiser. A daring, imaginative modern horror-fantasy that was met with critical derision and box-office indifference. Overambitious, underbudgeted, ahead of it's time, gory and gay, the gang takes a look at this messy and flawed film which - in particular since the release of multiple new cuts - has developed a cult audience for it's striking visuals, queer themes, and icy villain performance from canonical Marvelous! godhead David Cronenberg.

For this episode we watched the 2013 Director's Cut, with a 1h42m runtime.
