Patreon Raffle! (UPDATED) (Patreon)

Thank you for subscribing to the Marvelous! Or, the Death of Cinema Patreon. As a paying patron, you are automatically entered into our Patreon Raffle, where every few months we select a random patron to give us a movie to watch and do a bonus episode on. Couple of ground rules to limit the scope of what we’re willing to watch:

• Comic book and superhero movies of any era (we encourage suggestions for pre-Iron Man films or anything between 2008 and 2017 we’ve missed).

• Hollywood blockbusters (stand-alone or franchises).

• Watch Something Else suggestions we’ve made on previous episodes or movies that somehow represent an antithesis to the cinematic universe formula (foreign films encouraged!).

• Anything you can reasonably argue aligns with the central thesis of this podcast (IP exploitation bullshit, legacy sequels/reboots, etc.).

• Anything you can justify as making a good or interesting episode (we will say no or tell you to pick something else if we feel we can't get an angle on it).

• Please don't suggest an entire movie franchise or more than one movie at a time. We are busy people, so we can't watch all of the Transformers or Resident Evil movies for a single bonus episode. No television either. We will be taking length/runtime into account so don’t suggest a season of television.

You have three days (72 hours) to respond to us with your pick after you're first contacted, and if we don't hear from you, we will pull another winner.

Again: You don't need to do anything other than be an active paying patron in order to be eligible for the raffle. If you win, Nicole, Stu, or Cole will contact you by the email used for your Patreon subscription, on Discord, and/or Patreon DMs.

Nicole, Stu, and Cole.
