Hi guys, there is a very good question in the community about what's new in the Sandtrooper figure (released this weekend)  compared to and old model posted in MyMinifactory a few years ago.

As you can see the new model (picture 1.)  has less parts and is more easy to assemble. I have changed every single pice, updating the design to be more accurate (in my opinion). So yes, despite is the same character, everything has change, to the better I hope ; )

Thanks for asking and thank you again for your amazing support!

I love the redesign. Some of your newer models already have this feature. It makes putting them together so much easier!!! Thank you!

I assembled Chewie and C3PO from the old figures. C3PO as a robot was good with the screw on the back and Chewie with the bandana hides it. But these are figures that require a certain amount of work and the printer has to be well adjusted to avoid differences in proportions in the front and back pieces and the arms and legs tend to be looser. I didn't print the other figures for that exact reason. Aitor, would you consider remaking the snowspeeder pilot and the x-wing pilot? Thank you for this new release!

This is such a good remake, models like this one are much better than the ones with the bolt in my humble opinion. I would really appreciate old model updates (C3PO and Scout Trooper comes to my mind right now)

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the amazing 3D printable figures you create. I’m a big fan of your work, and the level of detail and thought you put into each model is truly impressive. I wanted to ask if you’d be open to considering a potential evolution for your future models. I recently came across an open-source model that features some fantastic movable joints, which could add even more flexibility and articulation to your designs. The model is called the Dummy-13 Version 1.0, and you can check it out here: https://www.printables.com/model/981111-dummy-13-version-10. I believe the joint system used in this model could complement the great work you’re already doing, and I’d love to see what you might do with something like this. Of course, I completely understand if this isn’t aligned with your vision, but I thought it might be a fun idea to explore! Thanks again for everything you contribute to the community. I look forward to seeing your future creations! -Schwach
