Critical Role fancomic WIP (Vax & Orym meet) (Patreon)

(some hinted minor and major spoilers for Critical Role campaign 1 ahead)This comic has obviously nothing to do with Critical Role canon, but the idea of Vax meeting baby Orym back in Zephrah when he stayed there during the CR1 timeskip would not leave my brain.Since I don't know when I'll ever be able to finish it (the last 2 pages are even still in the very rough stages, sorry about that), I thought you guys could see its "skeleton" before anybody else!

(we know that Orym's dad pretty much left him, but we don't yet have the information as to when exactly that happened. We know that Orym sees Derrig as his father figure, though, but we also have no idea if Derrig took care of him when he was that young. So, I might just change up the character and dialogue a bit to make it sound like one of the town's caretaker for all kids without families? not sure yet)

Hope this sketchdump wasn't too lackluster, I'll try to share some other sketches later this month to make up for it if i have time to doodle for myself before April! ♥
