Aw, I absolutely love Spy x Family!💖 I don’t really watch anime anymore but I would recommend Toradora, it’s cute, funny and I love Tsundere’s🤭

Timothy Lee

Been watching anime since I was a kid, started with Princess Mononoke (classic along with all the creatures films) Snow White with the Red Hair is a super cute romance, you would love it solar!

Christopher Riley

Definitely anime fan. I would definitely suggest frieren beyond journeys end. A newer series I've been watching on crunchyroll is smoking behind the supermarket with you it's super cute. Of course I always recommend gundam maybe seed or wing as a starter. I know you like romance too so there is a anime on Netflix called the fragrant flower blooms with dignity that I absolutely love. I hope this helps. I would be happy to help you on your weeb journey. Maybe you can cosplay in the future as well. Thank you for everything you do Miss Solar and I hope your having a wonderful weekend 😊💛

I swear collecting figures is so addicting. Its a fun hobbies if they weren't so pricey. As for an anime recommendation: Spice and Wolf is awesome and I think more people should watch it. ^^

The most I got into anime was the Pokémon animated series, and even then I watched it on and off while growing up and stopped after the Kalos season. I tried starting other anime, it’s just not my cup of tea, but I won’t judge others.

Cylver2077

Given how wide term anime is I bet there's something for everybody as long as they don't mind animation. I recently discovered a super cozy slice of life show "Smoking behind a supermarket with you". I got so hooked I watched it in one go and I'm currently rewatching. I wanna buy the full Manga because anime is only 20 episodes while Manga is like 60+ or sth. Another more lighthearted and silly one would be "Kitsune no Senko". I feel like both are a pretty good basis for asmr audios as well

interesting, the spy x family figures four years have passed since 2022, when the series was popular. I quite liked the anime Anya Forger, Bond, and so on but anyway, have a good day, Miss Solar. 😊💛💖

Ive grown up watching anime, the first anime I ever saw was the movie Spirited Away when I was 7-8 years old, I highly recommend you give it a watch! Its a great classic!

WillowTheMachine

Not an anime fan a lot of other ASMR youtubers kinda have the Anime voice and I never liked it

Mikey mouse

I would recommend space battleship Yamato 2199 it is an awesome anime with a bit of history and scifi themes. Your anime figures look so cute Solar😊

Mr_Master501

Somehow anime went completely past me. Never watched it and am now to busy or I have other things on my watchlist.

Phil's Enjoyment

Yeah, I love a good anime, preferably stuff from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Hard to pin down a good series, but movies.......I'd recommend Castle in the Sky and Nausicca: Valley of the Wind

That's a really nice starter! There are already some really good recommendations in other comments but here are some of my personal favourites that I think you might enjoy (might overlap): - Spice & Wolf (the latest adaptation; economy meets romance with fantastic elements) - The Apothecary Diaries (mystery and romance (?) in a Chinese-like setting) - Ghost in the Shell (everything except what was released between 2013 and 2022) - Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury (good standalone Gundam series) - Cowboy Bebop (a classic, although melancholic) - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (one of the best shounen manga/anime) - Psycho-Pass (if you can handle graphic violence, it's an excellent series... except season 2, you can skip it without any real consequence) - Oban Star-Racers (an oddball of an anime created by a French team and animated in Japan) - A Silent Voice (excellent movie) - Yuru Camp / Laid-Back Camp (cozy series about camping, cute girls doing cute things) - Erased (murder mystery meets time travel) And there are many more including personal favourites (Blood Blockade Battlefront, Gurren Lagann, Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans...) or things I haven't watched or not fully but can get behind (Ghibli films, Frieren, The Helpful Fox Senko-san, Pokémon Concierge, Paprika...)! Also, obligatory Monster Musume mention if you're curious to know where that one very popular snake lady comes from (warning: spicy). Last but not least: be careful not to purchase bootleg figures! I'm inclined to believe you did your homework but a PSA never hurts 😄

i love SPY X FAMILY soooooo much!!! I also came to manga/anime kinda late, but started buying volumes of spy family just last year and also bought me that lil Anya figure <3 I love cars so I'm enjoying reading Initial D rn but also really enjoyed Steins;Gate (sci-fi time-travel stuff, but it's really the characters and their relationships that are just so sweet).

I won’t give too many recommendations, but first I’ll say this: Only subtitles, no dubs. The original Japanese is always the best way to go, even if you’re like me and don’t really like having to read the screen. I’ve heard great things about some English dubs, but there has been a lot of controversy over the years especially the last few, where localizers have been completely changing certain parts of the original script for content that they feel is problematic. I don’t care about what ideology you side with, but that’s straight-up censorship. It’s not the localizer’s job to decide what is and isn’t acceptable thematically for the target audience. Their job is to translate it while keeping it as faithful to the source material as possible. Let us the consumer decide what we want to watch or not. While this still occurs even with subtitles, it’s usually not as bad. That said, one of the reasons I have once again started learning Japanese is so I could go directly to the source for my entertainment. As I’ve done so, I’ve learned an awful lot is simply lost in translation. The differences between Western romance languages and Japanese (as well as other Eastern languages) are simply fascinating, but I’m getting off-topic. Can I write nothing short anymore?! I could expound on Manga and Anime and animation in general, but here are my recommendations for you: Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Komi Can’t Communicate, and Erased.

ちょっと待てよ!ちはやふる!(WAIT!!! Chihayafuru!) Ignore my earlier recommendations. You can watch those some other time. Do not pass go! Go directly to Chihayafuru! I can’t believe I forgot about it. There is no other manga or anime I would recommend as highly! Trust me on this if nothing else.

Chippie

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Steins;Gate are both must watch anime. I would dare say Frieren should be added as a must watch as well. There are plenty of other classics, and plenty of other modern anime that are really good, but if I had to recommend 3, it would be those.

It's been a pleasure seeing your anime journey begin, and safe to say I very much love anime 🫂🌟💙🤭
