As far as where this takes place in the timeline, we’re going to 100 years before the events of The Phantom Menace. In other words, this is long before the Skywalker saga went down. At the moment this is a limited series. However, I also heard that this show much like Ahsoka has the potential to have more than one season. The trailer featured Carrie Anne-Moss from Jessica Jones, Manny Jacinto from The Good Place, and Lee Jung-Jae from Squid Game. This show also has Amandla Stenberg. You recently heard her voice in Across the Spider-Verse. She got to portray Margo Kess/Spider-Byte. This show has one other actress I’m familiar with, but I can’t tell you how I know her. Let’s just say… she’s just getting started.

Honestly (and this is just my opinion), based on everything the cast and crew of this show have previously said and what’s shown in the trailer, I’m not very optimistic Specifically who is directly at the helm at this show; Leslie Headland (aka the former assistant of Harvey Winestein). She has talked multiple times about how important DEI is to her which is alarming because it shows that making a good story is not her main priority. Another thing that raised red flags was her and the cast talking about Star Wars inaccurately and just making statements that are just wrong. You can tell they don’t know much about Star Wars in general. More than what they have said though, the trailer shows that they went back to the sets and props that look extremely cheap and take that Mandolorian, Ahsoka, and Kenobi had. I know that they said that they didn’t use the Volume (the LED background set they use ), but the quality of the show looks just as bad. Basically, it looks as though they have made some choices for this show I might not agree with. However, I will give this show a chance. If I am wrong and it ends up being good, then I was wrong. I know people will call me a hater, but these are just my opinions. If you have a different one, I completely respect that. Just, please be respectful.

Looks great to me!

Hi Aldo, for my generation Carrie Ann-Moss will always be Trinity from the Matrix movies ... ;-)

My greatest take away of this trailer is: I see Jedi younglings, a new / unkown Wookie and a bunch of light sabers, ... let's go! I just hope it will not try to too hard to reference family names or characters we already know, and they (Disney/Lucasfilm) will give new characters and storylines an honest chance. Maybe only Yoda and Hugang are allowed ;-). p.s. Love your new hair Emme!

It is hard to respect the opinion that diversity is bad. That's a you problem; Star Wars is for everybody.

I'm excited that the Wookiee is played by Joonas Suotamo; he's been such a great steward of the Chewbacca mantle.
