In dimension-838, the Ultron program was a success. They’re fulfilling their true purpose and not going mad with power. Just like in this film, the comics’ first version of the Illuminati also had Black Bolt, Mister Fantastic, and Professor X. Two of the other three members were Doctor Strange and Iron Man. For this film, the three members were replaced by Mordo, Captain Carter, and Captain Marvel. However, this version of Captain Carter is not the same one we met in What If. Also, Carol doesn’t become Captain Marvel. The mantle instead falls on her best friend Maria Rambeau. Until 2019, Marvel Studios legally (and ironically) couldn't use X-Men or even mention them or say the word "mutant" because 20th Century Fox held the film rights to them. However, after the Walt Disney company bought Fox's tv and film divisions, Marvel was able to take back the film rights to X-Men, Deadpool, and the Fantastic Four among other characters. As a result of the merger, the Fox corporation became their own thing. So they had to change the name of the tv and film studio. 20th Century Fox is now known as 20th Century Studios. The success that the X-Men cartoon had on the Fox Kids block was the reason that 20th Century Fox took a chance at creating the X-Men films to begin with. 838-Charles is visually a merger of both the animated series and the live-action films. Patrick Stewart portrayed the character again while also wearing the same suit and riding the same hoverchair as his counterpart from the cartoon. In fact, my favorite part in all of Multiverse of Madness was hearing the reorchestrated opening track to X-Men: The Animated Series when Charles arrived in his hoverchair. However, that version of Charles is NOT the same incarnation from the X-Men movies. Therefore, I can assure you that his presence doesn't really give away anything. His involvement was more about the fan service than the lore. Even so, I would definitely still recommend checking out the X-Men live-action films sometime. Most of them are really good. As for the cartoon, the story continues under the name X-Men '97. Some of the original voice cast returned, and two more seasons are already underway. In other news, Marvel Studios is working on a Fantastic Four film currently slated for Friday, July 25th of next year. It will be directed by Matt Shakman, the same guy who directed all nine episodes of WandaVision. And guess what? Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic will be portrayed by none other than our Mandalorian Din Djarin himself Pedro Pascal!!! Originally, MCU Spider-Man director Jon Watts was supposed to direct this new film. He decided to step down and take a sabbatical from superhero films until it's time to work on the MCU's fourth Spider-Man entry. In the meantime, Jon worked on the upcoming Star Wars show called Skeleton Crew starring Jude Law. With The Acolyte approaching, there’s no confirmation when Skeleton Crew will show up. It’s currently still slated for this year. And finally, Black Bolt is from the Inhumans show that unfortunately didn't do so well. However, there is one other show that does a much better job at showcasing who inhumans are…

This was one of the first movies I watch in the cinema after our the lockdown here in Europe. I had just finished watching Wandavision and What If season 1 and it was so fun seeing this movie turning over all my expectations. Dr Strange as the good guy, Wanda as the Scartlet Witch being worse than ever before and I was happily susprised to see real life Captain Carter. I also love this introduction to America Chavez and in the end that Strange let her keep and use her power. Loved your reactions, and looking forward to the next in the MCU timeline.

This was so fun when I saw it in theaters to watch and Wanda was scary lol that part when she was massacaring all the other heroes of that one Earth was crazy . Fun movie but I think the movie should have been called Wanda's multiverse since it was mainly about her haha and would love to see you react to the X-men movies or the cartoons

Willos

should definitely watch the X-men films they will play a big role in marvel soon

just an fyi: in no way home, doctor strange made everyone forget peter parker ever existed, but everyone still remembers spiderman. that's why he remembers there was an "incident with spider-man", he just doesn't know his secret identity.

If you do plan on watching them I suggest to watch release order instead of "timeline" cuz it will become clear with movies like X-men the last stand & X-men Dark Phoenix that the timeline doesn't make any sense.
