seems for some reason the american host where you watch decided for some unknown reason to differently change the speed of season 3 again after it was fine the last special so sadly no more full lenght for me :( its not sync with the original bbc version anymore

This is definitely a top tier season opener. Martha is a great character and I love that rather than being freaked out and needing her hand held, she's immediately trying to figure everything out. Good to have two (sort of) 'Doctors' in the TARDIS!

Season 3 is so gd! Really underrated as well some of the best moments in the whole show to come x)

I don’t think you heard Martha when she said that she lost a cousin at Canary Wharf (the cousin worked at Torchwood). The actress that played Martha also played the part of her cousin. It was in part one of the last episodes of last season. The woman from Torchwood pulled the Cyberman thing out of her ear. Martha is awesome!

The reasoning is that the US and UK generally uses different framerates for broadcast which has it's roots in the different frequency power grids, so originally in the UK this would have been broadcast in 25fps. Modern streaming uses a standard 24fps though because that was the standard for shooting on film. So chances are, Emme's provider is streaming it in 24fps instead of the original 25fps. The best way to deal with this is to 'aquire' a copy of the episode on the high seas, open it in VLC media player or similar and slow it down by 0.96x if the file info shows 25fps. If it shows 24 or more likely 23.976 you'll probably be able to leave it unchanged. Because Who has been broadcast, streamed and burned to dvd all over the world it's unfortunately pot luck which version you get.

as i watch it on bbc i am out of luck then i guess, i wonder if i can just slow the reaction down to 24fps somehow xD

I love the "little shop" running gag. If you remember, the first episode of the second season, they were at the hospital in New New York and the Doctor kept making comments about wishing it had a gift shop. It's so funny that it came back around in the first episode of the third season when he delighted to see hospital gift shop. The doctors each have so many quirks and "loves gift shops" is such a random 10 quirk lol. Martha's theme in the musical score is very beautiful but it also feels a little too sad and haunting and aching. There's a melancholy undertone that I kind of wish wasn't in her main theme. But still, it's a very beautiful composition.
