Hey, Emme. You know what else is crazy but also kinda funny? Two years ago when Love and Thunder premiered, we had gotten five out of six episodes of Ms. Marvel. Two years later, here we are. In a similar sense, you reacted to those five episodes before going into this film. Only one episode left. 😅😂🤣 Being completely honest, this movie wasn’t necessarily my favorite. A lot of people including most of the reactors who have seen this movie would agree with both of us that there was more potential with Gorr the God Butcher. I did like his performance though. As far as comedy goes, they tried a little too hard to be funny. Still, my favorite funny moment was Thor dissing Gorr’s dental work. A decade ago I never imagined they would implement the screaming goat meme into a comic book film, but here we are. They don't mention their names out loud, but they're called Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder. The New Asgard tour guide is Darryl Jacobson. He appeared in the Team Thor One-Shots and starred in his own short titled Team Darryl. I had a feeling that the title Love and Thunder had a deeper meaning, but I didn’t expect it to be nicknames for Thor and his new daughter. Gorr's daughter Love was portrayed by Chris Hemsworth's real-life daughter India Rose. In fact, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, and Taika Waititi had their kids join as some of New Asgard's children. Not only that, the kids who were brought to set were asked to draw monsters on paper. Then those drawings were submitted to the visual development team to create the shadow monsters that we see in the final film. The idea started when Taika’s daughter drew a monster and showed it to her dad, and that was in the early stages of development. They had yet to start filming at the time. @7:00 In the timeline, this movie takes place between Endgame and the Guardians’ holiday special which you’ve already seen. After this, the Guardians would purchase Knowhere from the Collector, release Cosmo from the collection, and welcome her to the team. The purchase must’ve been worth a fortune, but I’m guessing the Guardians were able to afford by answering all those distress calls regarding Gorr. I know we still have a ways to go, but I can’t tell you how excited I am for you to get to Volume 3. Until then… Once it was Thanos for Infinity War… Then it was the Avengers for Endgame… And then Spider-Man for No Way Home… And now, the Guardians of the Galaxy demand our silence.

Still watching, so not sure if this gets figured out later in, but I always took Jane’s height as part of her “Thor” transformation. There’s also the theory that each Thor film is colored by the perspective of the narrator and in the case of Thor: Love and Thunder it’s perhaps a somewhat unreliable narrator in Korg, who seems to have a bit of a more quirky fairy-tale perspective.

I enjoyed this movie the second time I watched it. Mostly because I purposely ignored the weird love triangle Thor had with Mjolnir and Stormbreaker. But I truly enjoyed Thor and Jane's story, even though it ended sadly. She wanted to save the kids and stop the Gorr, and she did. And Thor's heart broke in the process, but it was her choice and he understood that. Also, I don't know if this is a thing, but Thor had a hole in his outfit in the beginning of the movie, and Doctor Strange had a hole in his cape in the last movie as well. Maybe we need one more hole to make 3 in the future and it might mean something.
