I’ve always believed that the best story antagonists are the one with a back story that you can related to, and Gorr is a brilliant example imo. Lately, when you started the reactions to Torchwood I was thinking about actors for Wales, and I believe Christian Bale is a great example of a very talented actor from there. He created a very intense villain in Gorr in this movie. Talking about country representation, the goats are called Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr and are from Norse mythology. They have appeared in Marvel Comics with their English translated names Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder. Personally, my favourite scene of this movie was the end scene with Thors and Love, you can see the real-life father and daughter chemistry in this scene, and I loved it. I know this Taika Waititi movies are not for everyone, and this one is specific one indeed, but I personally love most of them including this one. I guess he was in a GNR phase while making this movie ;-)

Def silly at times, but makes me want to hug loved ones and eat panflaps

STANNED UP for NERDS

I think a beautiful end to Thor’s story will be reuniting with Jane and Heimdall in Valhalla after he makes a very noble sacrifice and dies in battle.
