It is clear now that Osha saw herself in the future kiling Sol and not Mae. This show and especially the last few episodes really show the flaws in Sol's way of thinking and the Jedi believe they are the only ones with right to use the force and teach children to do the same. I still cannot understand why they couldn't stay with their mother. I totally agree the worst thing to see it the lies of Vernestra to save her own ... these political games are the beginning of the end for the Jedi and this show is a very good way to show this.

that was easily one of the greatest SW season finales I've ever seen. Especially for the live-action series. The game is completely changed for the acolyte, and S2 is about to be GOATED with the directions they're going to take with the story. That was the first 10/10 for me with the Acolyte, and im so proud of them for knocking it out of the park.

that's true about osha seeing the future, i didnt' consider that!! i don't think there is a logical reason why they couldn't have stayed with their mother besides the biases of the jedi (especially sol).

I'm happy some people can like something the majority, including myself, didn't quite enjoy. It definitely didn't meet my standards with a budget almost twice as much as Kenobi. Adding the film grain look to the show didn't help either. Besides the fight scenes, I thought the story/character motives were all over the place. I couldn't feel any sense of compassion for any character. The cameo's of Plagueis and Yoda seemed like a far reach for a season 2. Glad you liked it! Hope it gets better and they learn from mistakes if it gets a second season.

Fun little parallel between the Venestra and Mae scene and the throne room scene from RotJ, removing the restraints and telling the guards to get lost. Oh, and that wasn't one of the witches hanging out in the cave on the island, that was Darth Plagueis, Palpatine's teacher.

@Cody I am right there with you. Part of me thinks "How could someone like this show"? Other than some badass fight scenes and 1-2 characters I like, I continuously have that question in my head. However, I must remind myself that this is only my opinion and that others may have different standards for what is "great" than I do.
