Cute little trivia about this episode - Martha's TV is branded 'Magpie Electricals' the TV brand Mr Magpie ran in Series 2 'The idiots lantern'. Not sure how they survived after their sole owner/employee was vapourised, but their logo has occasionally shown up on various appliances in the show ever since, even in the far future!

I'm crying and we're not even up to the finale!

To this DAY, when I tap absentmindedly, I do the four taps of a time lord’s heart beat. Someday, somewhere, someone will recognize it and give me the “oh dear” inside joke look.
