One of the most disturbing episodes in anime history, but its very important to the show, don't let it discourage you, this show is crazy, but there's a reason its one of the best

i had to wait till i was in a better state of mind to rewatch this episode, for obvious reasons, this episode is often the point people realize this show isnt pulling punches, its horrible but it needed to happen so we know everything is on the table and the stakes are real high its a great episode but its one i cant rewatch often, and bawling my eyes out every time i do haha, im excited to continue the rewatch now and i cant wait for you to see some of the amazing moments in this show some context, feel free if you want to skip this if you dont want any info on what was going on behind the scenes when the show released, but the IRL context might help with knowing why the show plays out as it does early on, the start of the show is fairly fast paced, but thats mainly because its the second attempt at a Fullmetal Alchemist show, the original outpaced the Manga as it was releasing so it had to make up its own story and diverges from the manga's story considerably, so Brotherhood came about where it was based soley on the manga, however i believe they were concerned the start (which is the same) would cause people to lose intrest so they sped up the pacing a bit, i think it works fine but i know some find it jarring, either way, it quickly finds a good pace and holds it all the way to the finish line! (if you read this hope the context helps :) as always, great reaction!) bonus edit, i also saw the most diabolical shirt at a convention recently, it was the fusion dance from dragon ball z but it was Nina and the dog doing the dance, my jaw dropped and the guy wearing it got a good laugh from my reaction xD
