so glad you're liking 12 and clara, they are definitely my favorite duo in all of new who <3 it's so lucky they have the chemistry they do, they hadn't worked together until the first table read after he was cast!

I really like this episode, it adds to the theme of Moffats tenure of trying something different with the Dalek's like we saw in the asylum of the Daleks ep rather than just having them as a sort of invincible final boss that end up being defeated like in the RTD era, really freshens them up. I had a colleague of mine who was upset when Capaldi was announced because he was attracted to Tennant & Smith and he wanted a young & sexy Doctor not in his words an old fart. I think after the previous two doctors 12's more grumpy and abrasive personality was a bit of a culture shock particularly to younger people who had grown up with 10 & 11 having more easily likeable personalities. I really liked it however I think it was the right creative decision to go in a different direction with a new Doctor and I'm glad to see you are liking it too, hopefully you will continue to enjoy it

It's not the first time the Doctor has been inside a a Dalek's shell. The first Doctor hid inside a Dalek museum exhibit. The Doctor has been shrunk down for at least three previous stories called Planet of Giants, The Invisible Enemy and The Armageddon Factor.

LOL, back in the day, most of the classic Doctors were played by 'older' actors...

You are a good dalek

Matt

There was some issue with an older doctor, but, watching them again with you, they stand up really well, and are some of my favourite eps. And it’s so cool that Peter IS a massive fan, like huge fan. lol

Plus, fun fact the new season intro, was actually done by a you tuber who created a fan intro. Very cool.
