Omg I some how never made the OITB connection before, that's absolutely her!

Fox had to make a whole other Deadpool movie after this just to cheer everyone up

After this movie was released, it was confirmed this takes place in 2029 in an alternate timeline (aka. parallel universe). This means this is not the same Logan as in the other X-men movies, and this is also not Earth 616, where most of the other MCU movies are set. Maybe this information can set your mind at ease a little. Also, for me, this is still one of the best superhero movies ever made.

Ugh, that is such a studio exec driven cop-out. This movie was a beautiful if tragic end to the saga but of course they can't just let a good thing be, they have to lessen it by making up some dumb nonsense so they can squeeze more money out of it. Oh well, still an absolute masterpiece.

i agree, this is definitely one of my favorite superhero movies so far!

oddsin

potential spoilers ahead...but im sure this is the same wolvie from the past movies as we see later on in D&W

Peter Wyatt

It was also confirmed DURING this movie that it takes place in the year 2029, because you hear it on the radio that Logan was listening to shortly after the intro fight scene.
