Trashy Feel

So close to Daredevil Born Again !

No spoilers, but something important to know if you were to eventually dive into Daredevil Born Again, the original writer/director team was told specifically to NOT watch any of the Netflix Daredevil content before making the first season. They wrote and shot about two-thirds of it when Disney began letting test audiences watch what they had so far and the feedback was so abysmal they fired the entire writing and directing team. Apparently what they had made and Disney had greenlit was basically Law and Order with a splash of Daredevil and there were no recurring characters or references from Netflix S1-3, not even Foggy and Karen, with no explanation in the show as to why/how. Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock was the only thing in common between Born Again and the Netflix seasons. So Disney panics and fires every single writer and director involved (even though the Disney suits told them to make what they had made), brings on a completely new team, and tells them to fix it. Keep in mind, the first season is pretty much completely shot already. The new team tries to rewrite and shoot everything but obviously has to use some of the previously shot content for budgetary reasons. They actually did a great job with a very difficult situation and tried to make it a linear continuation of Netflix S1-3 and Defenders but if some parts of season 1 feel...off, it's probably content the old team had filmed. The good news is that season 2 comes out next month and was completely made by the new team and looks to be much more connected. Insane situation.

emme a little recap if u ever dive into born again: this took place a few months before infinity war and the snap so a lot has happened since, if u recall hawkeye, no way home etc all had cameos from Matt or Fisk so dont be so shocked to see Fisk a free man lol
