here is my timed reaction to buffy the vampire slayer season 1 episode 8 "i, robot... you, jane"

this one was SOO fun and i hope this new character will be around more!!

To put this into perspective: you’re watching episodes that were filmed in 1996 and first aired in the spring of 1997. That’s nearly 30 years ago and they still hold up. The show was really ahead of its time. Willow "googling" something is also one of the earliest uses of the term on US television, especially considering that Google itself was only founded in 1996.

Fun fact, the next episode has a post credit scene. This episode is one of the least liked episodes of season 1 and we are now past what most would say are the bad parts of season 1.

Robia LaMorte Scott who plays Jenny Calendar was a part of the dance crew for The Diamond and Pearl tour by Prince. She was "Pearl" in the dance team paired with another dance labeled "Diamond" and she also can be seen in the videos for "Cream", "Gett Off", "Strollin'", and of course "Diamonds and Pearls".

I absolutely enjoy these reactions. And the fact that you actually enjoy episodes like this one here bodes VERY well for the six following seasons of the show. In general, episodes like "I, Robot... You, Jane" are considered some of the worst ones so the fact that you're already having so much fun already with these, only means that what's to come is going to blow your mind. And I, for one, will be here for it. I can't wait. I'm not going to spoil anything. I would never do that. But just know that some of the upcoming character arcs, new characters, plot twists, and evolution of the Buffy verse over 7 seasons is monumental. This show is going to stay with you once you've made it all the way through. I promise =) And yes, I decided to move my support to Patreon instead of Youtube. I need those full reactions!
