this was another fun one! it felt similar to the last episode but still fresh

this episode was definitely a ride like a lot on the topics is as you said real. im just wondering where this season direction is heading to.

It’s amazing how well this show still hold up: it’s just a shame that we found out years later, that Joss Whedon is such a scumbag. But I don’t let his revelation as a piece of shit sour my love of Buffy & Angel: not only am I not going to let it taint a huge part of my teenage years; a lot of other incredible people worked on those shows, and they don’t deserve to have people not enjoy what they accomplished, just because Joss is scum in barely human form haha. I love the little things in this show that you spot: such as how cute it was, that both Buffy & Xander were playing with Willow’s hair. I also like your continued love for Cordelia: some people I’ve watched take against her a bit, but I like that you get how funny she is, even though it’s usually because she’s being mean. Some people take offence to Cordelia’s sarcasm & put downs on behalf of the other characters: I get that, but I think she’s sometimes just used as the comic relief in those situations. Plus we’ve already seen her somewhat grow, as a character, even though it’s only 5 episodes into the second season. Buffy has so many great characters, but Cordelia is without doubt, one of the best in the show: I think you’re going to enjoy the arc she goes through. But that’s all I’m going to say on the subject: I don’t want to accidentally spoil anything. I wish we could get more episodes a week, but I know why we can’t: you’ve got other shows/movies to watch, and you can’t just become a dedicated Buffy channel haha. Plus, unless you were binging whole seasons every few days, or even one a week, just doing a few more episodes a every week still wouldn’t be enough for me: I just love watching new people discover this show, and want them to get to my favourite bits as fast as possible. How I used to cope, with having to wait for shows to release 1 new episode a week, I do not know: these days, I usually wait until a show has finished, & then binge all the episodes back-to-back. It’s somehow easier, to wait for a season of a show to finish, before I watch it, than it is to wait a week, for a new episodes…because I’m strange that way haha. Can’t wait for next week’s episode: it’s a very good one, and I think you’re going to really like it…but then, I could say that for most of the episodes haha. x

I KNOW. this & firefly was so enjoyable it is always disappointing to learn something bad about someone who created something that you enjoy. but i think it helps that both buffy and firefly fanbases are not toxic and we can find appreciation that way

Exactly. I love Firefly, too: the continuation film ‘Serenity’ is also great; though it also makes me even more annoyed, that ‘Firefly’ was cancelled, as there was so much more they could have done with that show. Yeah, the “Buffy Fanbase” seems to be populated with a bunch very nice people, on the whole: plus a lot of cast are also really great, and still love talking about the show over 20 years after it ended. I think it’s great, that fantastic people such as yourself, are still discovering the joys of BTVS: and even more people will be introduced to the show, because of your incredible content, & keep being exposed to it for years to come. It’s fun to be able to live vicariously through others, and watch you all get to experience the show for the very first time: unless they invent a mind wiping device, like in Men in Black, it’s as close as I’ll ever get to experiencing it for the first time again myself haha. Though, if anyone ever invents a device like that, I’d happily have a go haha. Hope you’ve had fun when you were away for the week. 😀
