One of my favorite Buffy episode ever. I knew you were going to enjoy that one (even more than usual I mean). This episode really elevates the show to a whole new level doesn't it? And it sets up so many things to come. I also want to say: you're very sharp! The fact that you clocked that they were filming Buffy at the beginning of the episode to "study her", and also how you instantly thought the shop owner was sus. Great job! Great reaction as usual Emme!

My head cannon about how a vampire got into the house without an invite is that it was someone who dressed as a vampire from a universe where they don't need invite.

This is a fun episode and starts a run of episodes I enjoy. I'm slightly surprised Emme didn't recognise Seth Green as Oz since he had a decent film career after Buffy. Just in passing, Tony Head was putting on a posh accent for Giles. His real accent closer to Ripper or Spike. I saw James Marsters talking about the help Tony gave whenever he got a word slightly wrong when he was reminiscing in memoriam.
