hi everyone!

here is my timed reaction to buffy season 2 episode 13 "surprise"

ok SOOO much happened in this one!! buffy is turning 17, spike and drusilla are getting the body parts together of a terrifyingly powerful being, and things get serious between angel & buffy!

there was so much plot progression in this one, also with jenny!!! looking forward to see how this continues to be played out.

thanks for watching with me!

Okay, I have a question: What do you mean by the term "timed"? I'm used to uncut versions simply being called "uncut," but you call them "timed," and now they don't contain any intro or outro. Does this mean that the intro and outro are now only included in your edited cuts once a month? That would be a bummer. Sure, they weren't long, but the video feels incomplete without them. And even if they're included in your edited version, it's not really practical to watch the uncut version today and then go back and rewatch the intros four weeks later.

I'm guessing there won't be an intro and outro for every episode in the edited version because they're going to be grouped into batches of episodes.

The bread thing you asked about is from the fairytale "Jack and the Beanstalk". The giant speaks a rhyme: Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum I smell the blood of an Englishman Be he alive or be he dead I"ll grind his bones to make my bread

Yeah im likely not going to make intro/outro for each episode because i will make one for the edited version. Im sharing all my thoughts that i would say though in the description! Theyre just called timed because you use a timer to sync up with your own copy

I will miss the intros and outros. I would listen to the intro while getting my copy ready. But I understand if this needs to change. I rewatch on YouTube most of the time.

Oop I just realized I (and anyone else watching on a phone) can't watch your reactions anymore :( That's a bummer. I get why you did it, and it seems like the majority want it so it's understandable, but I guess that kinda leaves us phone watchers out to dry since we can't sync 2 videos at once... unless someone here has a workaround they can share for us. Back to YouTube I go lol if you ever start dropping early access edits again, let us know!

Yeah this is a move that will help my workload out for the long run. I made a post about two weeks ago asking for input so in the future just be on the lookout for those so I can take your opinion into account! I always give a heads up and of course make everyone’s opinion a weighted factor.

emmereacts

I can make a small intro/outro in the future if it helps for you guys! Just definitely not the usual youtube speech since that wont be relevant until i film the last episode in the batch.

The BLOOB

Oh I know it's all good... it's what everyone wanted anyway when I saw the comments later on. You gotta do what makes the most sense... ultimately just an unfortunate consequence for phone watchers. Buffy watchers are like 95% full reaction people anyway lol before youtube reactions were even a thing, people who are here now were downloading videos of this guy MarkWatches and syncing their copies to his... or downloading audio commentary of podcasters and syncing just the audio. This community has been doing the full reaction thing for a longggggg time.

First time to watch something "timed" on Patreon. I have been boycotting Patreon since 2018 because of them banning someone. But seeing how well that worked I'm back. Oh, and Patreon is being a prick about it. They wouldn't even let me use my old email. Once you delete an account you can never use that email to open a new account. BTW, it is a bit wonky when you play the audio through your feed. You can never start to videos exactly at the same time, so when you let the audio play through, I get this not so wonderful stereophonic effect on my end.
