Wow. Definitely one of the best Star Wars reactions that I've seen, and I've seen them all:) The emotion paired with the thoughtful commentary is priceless.

What you've watched is the remastered version, with some CGI added (like the dinosaurs the stormtroopers are riding, and Jabba) but it's pretty close to the original except for, Han shot first!:) What happened to Obi-Wan was explained at the end of Revenge of the Sith by Yoda, if you think back to it:) Made me rethink my opinion on watching Star Wars in timeline order, which, being an old fart, I've always considered to be blasphemy. Also, the editing is exceptional! Really can't wait for you to watch how the story wraps up with V&VI.

Han shot first? In the origianl versoin, Han was the only one who shot, Greedo was dead before he knew what happened.

The scene with Jabba originally Jabba was just a human actor, hence Han walking so close and around him and calling him a wonderful human being. Years later they conceived of the big slug look and put the CGI over the human actor.

It added hilarity to the scene with Han stepping on Jabba's tail, and also made the 'human being' line into a joke:)

As far as Vader's height, the actor playing vader was originally supposed to be chewbacca but he was allergic to the fur in the suit , so they switched roles. Guess he would've been tall either way

3PO had his memory wiped at the end of Episode III, R2 did not because he knows how to not blab :p Luke and Leia are 19 in this movie so it’s been roughly another 9-10 years since the events of the Kenobi show and the Solo movie. Awesome reaction as always! It’s so cool & such a unique perspective to see you reacting to the originals while knowing all the drama and twists that came before. And just FYI because it’s not mentioned anywhere - Episode V takes place 3 years after this movie in the timeline. If you’re ever interested in expanding your SW experience to reading, there are a bunch of awesome comics published from 2015 onwards that fill the gap between IV and V (kinda like The Clone Wars but in comic form) - the main ones are Star Wars (following the main heroes), Darth Vader (following ya' boy) and Doctor Aphra (following a new anti-hero character who’s super fun and is basically a gender-swapped, more evil Indiana Jones)

I knew when I was saying it that it was a reference to something but I couldn’t remember what! I think i was actually referencing one of the comedian Brian Reagan’s standup sets. Just found it on youtube still pretty funny! https://youtu.be/89frRi8GgGA
