here we are - the series finale of clone wars. here is my edited reaction to season 7 episode 11 "shattered" and 12 "victory and death"

these episodes were truly beautiful, cinematic and emotional!

thank you for everyone who came in and i met because of these clone wars reactions. it has been a joy to get to know you and i appreciate you all so much! i hope you join me for what's next!

Yay we reached the end, congrats! Are you going to react to certain episdoes of Bad Batch similar to Clone Wars? Or react to every episode? Personally, there are some filler episodes that I don't think needs to be reacted to

i was thinking i'd do every episode of the bad batch since there's only 16 total, but i was wondering if there were fillers for Rebels since that one has multiple seasons?

Seeing Stormtroopers, Snowtroopers, and Vader in the Clone Wars art style is just so unexpected yet amazing. So it's unclear when Vader finds the crash site but the fact we Stormtroopers and the Lambda-class T-4a shuttle it seems that this is set at least 3 to 5 years after The Clone Wars enough time for the Empire to create all it's new toys and of course recruit people into the Stormtrooper core. Could even be 15 to 19 years after The Clone Wars making it closer to Rebels and A New Hope.

yeah, rex did get his chip removed by R7, good catch on the bandage later :) I love that the last scene doesnt have any imperial march or something, i mean it is still Vader and the song is so associated with him and the empire, but the whole tone of this episode was just so somber, and so was Vader finding her lightsaber. Also: the bird Vader sees at the end i'm pretty sure is Morai, who's closely associated with ahsoka tano because it's linked to the sister from the Mortis arc, who transferred her lifeforce into ahsoka so she could live.

Clone Wars was actually cancelled after series 5. That was it completely done. They then finished some half finished episodes they had a while later and released them on DVD as ‘the lost missions’. These episodes were later rebranded as Series 6. Many years then went by and with Disney owning Star Wars and with the introduction of Disney+, they decided to write a proper end to the series.
