hi patreon pals!

i hope everyone is having a good week so far!

here is the schedule for this week!

as you can see, patreon is now 4-5 weeks ahead. since we have 4 uploads a week on patreon vs 3 on youtube we will continue to move ahea but also this is my last week of classes for the semester so starting next week my schedule will free up a lot for other things.

i know i owe you guys a jedi fallen order playthrough OR reaction to the cutscenes (if you weren't here when we first reached that patreon goal, i tried to play jedi fallen order and i got motion sick.) i was thinking i'd either try the playthrough again with different settings or react to the scenes and that would be the fourth upload for the week.

ALSO, i have been ITCHING to play the star wars lego games! i played lego harry potter a bit and definitely didn't get motion sick with those, and i've heard lego star wars is so fun!

so my first question this week is this: do you prefer that i react to the jedi fallen order scenes if i am still motion sick, or should i start a lego star wars playthrough instead?

i also have another question regarding rebels! it seems like a lot of people on youtube are super excited for me to get to rebels. do you think skipping episodes is still a good idea or for season 2 and onwards should i react to every single episode? just getting nervous i'll disappoint, unless those episodes i'm skipping really are considered fillers!

let me know what you think for both and thanks for your support as always!

Personally, I would prefer you to watch the Jedi Fallen Cut scenes (may include some game play) if you can't play it through. Many did this to just enjoy the story. 😊

I second this

You should definitely play ‘Lego Star Wars - The Skywalker Saga’ at some point. Maybe after you’ve finished all the movies since the game covers all of them. It would also be cool if you reacted to some other Star Wars stuff in one off specials perhaps. The Cartoon Network version of Clone Wars (it’s only 2 hours total), deleted scenes from the movies - Mon Mothma appears in the Revenge of the Sith deleted scenes! There’s also a fan remake video of the Vader vs Obi Wan battle from A New Hope. You could even react to the original Emperor scene from 1980 Empire Strikes Back. Not sure if you’ve ever seen the original design. I think keep with your current plan for Rebels. Just make sure people know you watch the other episodes in between and react to the ones you have time for. This way will also mean you get to The Mandalorian and the sequel trilogy faster, especially with Bad Batch season 2 due in January!

there are a few filler in the other seasons of Rebels but honestly not that many. when i went to look into what i think are must watch episodes, i ended up listing almost all in each season. So i think if you keep a short list to react to, there will be a lot of important stuff that you dont have on camera. You can just make your list bigger, or you can react to all since you'd already almost be there anyway. Can you maybe share the list of reactions that you plan on reaction to right now, So we can see if there's still any episodes left out that you should definitely react to? As for Fallen order, I'd say if the motion sickness comes back up again, just react to all the cutscenes, you will get the idea of the story pretty easily from those. it's just, they weren't really meant to watch back to back, and there are revelations that maybe you'd rather let sink in (while playing the game you'd be walking around and fighting stormtroopers during this) before you watch the next important scene.

That’s a good point about getting to the mandalorian and other things faster!!! Also yes i think i will play lego star wars either way just was unsure whether to skip the fallen order or not!

Thank you for your feedback!!!! Appreciated!!

I’ve not played Fallen Order either. YouTube shows ‘movie versions’ ranging from 2 to 5 hours. The longer versions look to be where they’ve included gameplay. If you watched rather than played I guess you could break it down into a handful of streams as I’d imagine watching all at once might be hard going. Ps I’m not sure if it has been mentioned, or if you know already, but ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ is set between Series 2 and Series 3 of The Mandalorian. Just to keep in mind for future planning.

I’d say keep going the way you’ve been going with Rebels. Generally speaking Clone Wars is a more popular show than Rebels, so while the big episodes of Rebels will do well, the not as good ones probably won’t do as well view wise. And yes if you can’t play then definitely watch through fallen order. Once again your timing is perfect and the trailer for the new fallen order game just came out 2 days ago so it’s fresh on a lot of people’s minds

Okay, I've looked through what your list is now, you have already added a lot of important episodes already since last time. Though if I noticed anything while going through all the ones that are left out, it's that other fans really underestimate the importance of character development of individual members of the crew. I think in season 2, episodes 9, 11 and 16 are really important for that. For season 3, I recommend episodes 5, 7. 10, and 17 additionally to your current list. For season 4, episodes 3, 4, 7 are important i'd say. At this point you'd be at maybe 3/4th of the whole show in terms of what you react to, which is a lot more than what you did for Clone wars. However, CW is also longer and has a lot more unimportant stuff in earlier seasons. So if you wanna add these to your list I think you should be fine. Hope it doesn't mean you are aching to get to Mandalorian for too long though. But you could possibly start Mando about halfway through Rebels if you want. The entire first season is not that relevant to Rebels and it only becomes really interconnected later.

thank you for your feedback lucas!!

I agree with @Mathies, you’re missing a lot of good character development and important story episodes in your current Rebels list that you linked above. The notion that Rebels has more filler than The Clone Wars is just false. I’d say about 3/4 of the show is worth reacting to. I understand if you want to get through it so you can catch up on Mandalorian asap and react to that when season 3 airs. But I’m a perfect world I would recommend adding the following: Season 2: 9, 6, 11 Season 3: 5, 7, 10, 17 Season 4: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 As for Jedi: Fallen Order- if you can watch the cut scenes without getting sick, I’d recommend it. But please don’t make yourself ill for reactions, it’s not worth it!

OptionZero

I would watch every episode of Rebels. Even ones that seem like “filler” will have some significance later. Rebels tells a more focused story than Clone Wars, which was an anthology that frequently bounced around. Here, we stick to the Phoenix crew.

Mason

Definitely a jedi fallen order cutscene reaction! It's canonical but that's not the reason any of us want you to see it. Let's just say you won't regret it haha. I'd recommend a cutscene movie that shows some game play, for a couple parts important cutscenes carry into the game play a little. And if it matters, I concur with the others saying add some more Rebels episodes 😂

The Magician

Isn’t Emme watching all the episodes, just not reacting to all of them? There are many episodes of Rebels where there is barely anything to react to.

Kenny Lam

I don’t think you need to react to every episode of Rebels, and can keep doing it this way. That is, IF you’re watching the episodes you aren’t reacting to, similar to Clone Wars. I know you skipped a few between episodes 1 and 10, so hope you went back and watched them. I think people are mainly thinking you won’t watch those skipped episodes at all. And definitely react to Jedi Fallen Order cutscenes. The game is canon so no reason to skip it :) and play Lego Star Wars down the line
