Hi friends!

Very exciting news! With the help of dramamine, motion sick bracelets, and adjusting the game on my computer, I was able to play Jedi Fallen Order without getting sick in the first five minutes!

I am SO HAPPY BECAUSE THIS GAME IS SO COOL!!!! The moment with the dream completely sold me on this game being 10/10.

I am very excited to continue this game! I will be uploading videos about an hour in length once a week here on patreon!

Perfect timing as I myself have just finished the game so I can watch this without getting spoilers 😀

This game is really fun. Navigation is kinda confusing in parts so don't be surprised if you don't know where to go sometimes!

sooo... Cal was hiding out on Bracca, the same scrappers guild planet that The Bad Batch got their chip removed on.

Little Tip: One really fun rule of level development that will help you get around is how level designers use lights to show you where to go naturally grabbing the attention of you're eyes. If you watch the gameplay back you'll notice that every single place you needed to go had some type of light highlighting it without feeling out of place while everything else was in darkness leading the way to you're goal. If you ever get lost just look for any light sources they tend to lead the way, much easier in night missions but even day time levels use this as well. Basic Backstory: So little backstory Jedi Fallen Order is set in 14 BBY just 5 years after Revenge of the Sith but 5 years before Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Empire has only been around for 5 years so before Bad Batch this was the earliest we've seen the Empire. Cal is a Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66 and went into hiding sometime after the formation of the Empire. He's around 18 by the time of Jedi Fallen Order and played by Cameron Monaghan with the character of Cal being modelled after Cameron just slightly younger looking as the actor is 29. As Cal is modelled after his voice actor he could easily be brought into live action so who knows maybe we'll see him sometime in a Star Wars show or movie. Fun Info: Bracca appeared in The Bad Batch as a scraping world that breaks down Clone Wars ships just like the game as well, 5 years later they're still breaking down old Clone Wars ships just showcasing how many the Republic and CIS built. Jaro Tapal, master to Cal is a Lasat the same species as Zeb Orrelios from Star Wars: Rebels. This is the first time we've seen the Lasat in a more realistic depiction at least close to how they'd look in a live action movie or show outside of the Rebels art style. Purge Troopers are a specialized class of Imperial soldier trained and equipped to assist the Inquisitors in hunting down Jedi. Their helmets look very similar to the Airborne Clone Trooper Helmet the 2nd Airborne Company who we see in Revenge of the Sith after Obi Wan was shot into the Water by his clones. The first Purge Troopers were actually the last generation of clone troopers and did wear this same helmet in their appearances in the comics so maybe it's a left over from when the Purge Troopers were Clones. By the time of Jedi Fallen Order they're just normal humans who were highly skilled Stormtroopers and were given the choice of becoming Purge Troopers. Purge Troopers also showed up in Kenobi in the underwater base wearing new armour that looked closer to Death Troopers from Rogue One yet still had the single long red visor and even a bit of their helmet covering the back like the Army Trooper helmets we saw in Andor. Guessing sometime after Jedi Fallen Order the Purge Troopers got an upgrade. Cere Junda is voiced and modelled after Debra Wilson who's been in a bunch of video games lately from Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus in 2017 to Jedi Fallen Order in 2019 and even Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League releasing in May 2023. Another character who could show up in a live action project as the character. Greez Dritus is voiced by Daniel Roebuck and is a member of the Latero species created for this game. They've shown up in a few High Republic novels and comics but from my understanding Jedi Fallen Order and High Republic is the only places they've shown up.

Yay! I'm so glad you're enjoying it so far & that you didn't get motion sickness. I'm looking forward to part 2! 😊

Mason

If you made it through the train sequence without getting motion sick I'd imagine you'll be good to go! That's definitely one of the more disorienting parts of the game

I had to read the video title twice; my initials are JFO. 😂

I'm surprised you didn't choose the Story Mode difficulty. I'm a "gamer" and even I found the game challenging and frustrating at times haha

emmereacts

Yeah i’ve heard it’s difficult!! My thought process is that i’ll play this way and switch to story mode if i ever get frustrated since i’m mostly just playing this for the story content!

minuteforce

You really did set it very dark for this level, but I think most of the environments later in the game are brighter
