hi friends!

here is the schedule for this week! i'd consider it a pretty exciting week!

we are finishing the boys season 2 and starting season 3, continuing season 1 of the falcon and the winter soldier, wandavision is nearly complete, and of course we have ahsoka to look forward to on tuesday!!!

ANDDDD my reaction to the first lord of the rings movie will be on saturday! i know there hav been questions whether i will do extended cut or not, but i think for my first time through i will just do the standard cut. given that the extended cut is 3.5 hours long for the first one, i'd actually have to pay my editor more to edit it, and it would be difficult for me to sit through no matter how good the movie is! i think i will watch the extended cuts in my spare time on my couch where i can be more comfortable than at my desk, and also pause it often!

i'm super excited to watch it with all yall, and get into another fandom!!!

thank you all for the support, i hope you all have a great week!

Just curious most channels break LOTR into two parts, that way you can fit more in not to mention more views 😂 What are your plans for the movie?

only 1 video since if i did two i'd have to pay my editor twice as much. the other info is in the post! :)

Super excited that you'll be watching Lord of the Rings! Thank you for always providing the best content, Emme!

I like that there's an extended version of each movie, but I think theatrical cut is the way to go for first watch. Looking forward to it!

Loki next after Wandavision?

Now that's its Halloween season. May I suggest Marvel's Werewolf by Night. It's on Disney+.

IMO, you should watch the extended version of LoTR and split each movie into 2 videos - you get six reactions which should be worth the editing expense. There's plenty to react to. And you'd be missing out on a lot of character moments (which shouldn't have been cut) and some great Hobbiton scenes in the first movie. Plus there's some plot elements that just get dropped in the regular version.

FYI: Last year I wrote a song called 'Wolf by Night' about this briliant Marvel movie and it's characters. It made a deep impact on me!

LotR extended seems like a chore due to run-time, but the pacing and world building - time flies.

I honestly think the extended editions of the second & third movie (especially the third) are better than the Fellowship's, anyhow. & that isn't a backhanded compliment, I think Fellowship is by far the best paced of them! Tolkien! This is very exciting!

The greatest trilogy of all time let’s goooo (I highly recommend the extended cuts but I get it)

Emme, I understand the movies are very long in extended format, but reaction videos get A LOT of views for these movies! You can split up each movie into two parts. That way you can make twice as much revenue on three movies, split in six parts and be able to pay your editor fairly. But this is just my opinion. No matter what though you will get a lot of comments asking why you're not doing the extended version, missing out on great stuff, blah blah blah, but hey it's your channel, I will be there to watch it!!
