The LOTR callbacks were great (no spoilers in here past Fellowship). I loved the moment at the end of her fight with Anakin where she gets red eyes, then backs off. I saw that as being her Galadriel moment (perfect timing since you are watching Lord of The Rings). Galadriel was tempted by the ring and once she passed the test, as we saw in Fellowship, she could live out her life in the West. Note that Dave Filoni takes a lot of ideas and threads from Lord of The Rings stuff, so when you see the rest of the movies, you may see similar story points. Ahsoka passed the test that the force gave her. I see it as the force, making her change enough to be successful in keeping Thrawn from ruling the galaxy. She needed resolution to her leaving Anakin and not being there for Sabine. We have seen the force put its will (or whills) in these high-stakes situations. Such as Anakin being born (from the force, since he had no father) as a way to offset the power of the Sith, Yoda in CW season 6 (conquering his dark side), and Kanan with the wolves and basically saving the rebellion by destroying the tie defender fuel supplies (the force gave his eyesight back as a reward). I see Ahsoka as representing the light and Thrawn as representing the dark. Just like Anakin (or Luke, from a certain point of view) represented the light and Palpatine represented the dark.

I’m glad you were able to experience this one at the same time as everyone else. This is one I’ll probably never forget watching for the first time

To me, it's really unclear what Anakin was trying to impress upon Ahsoka throughout this episode, but her being on the frontlines of war when she was literally a child is something that really strikes you when it's shown with live-action

Joshua Johnson

It was about her letting go of her guilt about Anakin and basically embracing her Jedi teachings that she’s let a lot of it go out of bitterness towards the order

Fun fact, young Ahsoka is the same actress who was in Barbie and she was also young Gamora in Infinity War.

Thadman

I thought she looked familiar. I haven't seen Barbie, but since you said young Gamora, it makes sense. Especially since she was wearing makeup and prosthetics in that also.

Not only her guilt about him but her fear that she might BE like him. Because she IS like him, but like he says, he's not JUST Vader.

Hey Emme! Just wondering, do you have reaction videos for the rest of Asoka? This is the last one I can see. Thanks!
