I didn’t notice it true first time, but when I rewatched it in Spanish with my family (who were watching it for the first time), my own sister picked up on that. It makes sense. Maybe they don’t have social media, but she undoubtedly has more access to current events and the footage itself doesn’t lie. @7:06 Congratulations. You’re one of the few who reacted to phase four correctly. We were supposed to meet Valentina in Black Widow 2020, but then the pandemic happened and we ended up meeting her in this series instead. Our reactions were all “who are you?” when we were supposed to be all “hey, I know you.” By the way, this episode and the next one have post-credit scenes. You don’t wanna miss them.

John Walker, in the discharge hearing said that he was Captain America, in that instance, because he's saying that he is the representation that THEY made him. He followed all their dictates and was rewarded at every turn. They kept pinning medals on him and telling him to keep going, so he is what they made him and thus he is the representation of America, according to the government. It gave me chills when he gave that speech and although I thought the same thing that senator (?) said, "Not anymore," I also thought, "Damn, John's not wrong though." They molded him to be exactly who he is.

While I do wish all these new marvel shows were more than 6 episodes I love how much they manage to fit in in just a short time its like a mini movie, love it
