hi friends!

sync up your own copy of the show and watch along with me!

here is my edited reaction to what if episode 2 "what if... t'challa became a star lord?"

this episode was really nice, and the message at the end for chadwick was so sweet. i didn't get too emotional while watching but while editing i certainly teared up at how special that was.

thank you for watching with me!

This was Chadwick Boseman's final performance as T'Challa before his passing, truly a remarkable man who is missed dearly. Great reaction.

One of the things I was worried about was how they were gonna develop T’Challa’s personality as Star-Lord, but they ended up doing a tremendous job in my opinion. He had already developed a good influence when he was taken from Wakanda, and through his inner goodness he was able to change the Ravagers’ ways, stop Thanos from experimenting further on Nebula, and essentially save his dimension. Also, Peter’s first spaceship was called the Milano (named after Alyssa Milano), but T’Challa named his spaceship the Mandela (named after the late activist Nelson Mandela). This was one of the last things Chadwick Boseman worked on. He was able to record all of the lines he needed to do before his passing. We can’t wait for you to get to Wakanda Forever.

Just one guys' opinion, but I'm not a fan of the highlight at the beginning edit. It's like watching Revenge of the Sith and they put the "I've got the high ground" moment at the start of the movie

Rewatching it now, this episode is so wholesome compared to most of the others in the season, which makes it stand out

I can understand that! That’s why I never put a huge moment in the plot in there, just a funny one.

His final live-action role was in a Netflix movie called Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. It was released about three to four months after his passing.
