Call for questions: SOCIETAL COLLAPSE (Patreon)

Next week I'm meeting with historian and archaeologist Dr. Joseph Tainter who wrote the book The Collapse of Complex Societies. He studies the fall of ancient societies like the Maya civilization and Roman Empire and analyzes the vulnerabilities of modern societies. He believes growing societies become less effective at solving problems as the societies become more complex. The cost of maintaining complexity outweighs the benefits.
