Howdy folks!

Here's another lore excerpt, this one a bit WIP as I'm working on the next couple of TWR!While the Forged (a genius replacement name for Warforged, dontcha think?) has yet to make an appearance in any of the comics, they may come in the future!

Stay tuned for more TWR!

Ok, so is it Turvilan or Tuvilian, or are both correct? Nice lore dump either way.

Love me some magical murder-bots, the fact that theze ones are apparently made from people's souls is fun!

"Where's my skin," huh? How very Necron/Skin Bandit of you. I also put some insane skin bots in my campaign. Nothing quite like listening to your players panic as one of the casters go down and they hear, "one of the skin-cloaked machines latches on to your unconscious body with its vivisectors and starts dragging you away from the fight." It's a great time. Granted I have no idea if yours go that far in their insanity.

Adding that to the combat encounters in the future!

DOH! The second one sounds better, lets go with that one!

Maybe the people are known as Turvilan and the land is known as Tuvilian? I mean there are weirder things all around us.

Elector Counts Summoner

Given that they're implied to be former fleshlings, maybe extra layers of tragedy can be added to the layers of skin? One could have their madness stem from an eternal panic attack. At one point, their former organic nature rears its ugly head, they have a stress response to something while in combat, and start hyperventilating... but they have no lungs. They start hacking and gagging like they're trying to clear a blockage in their throat, to clear their airways... but they have no throat. They can't breathe... they can't breathe! Further panic grips them and they spiral further into maddening, permanent panic attack over the course of years, eventually leading them to start attacking people and harvesting their lungs in a desperate, insane attempt to remedy their torment. They try to jam the meat into their chest to no avail. The internal machinery slick and stinking with the rotted lung meat of their victims over the years. Each flesh-mad Forged could have their own tragic reason, their favored body part, and their preferred methods of getting them. Alternatively, you could go the jealousy/nihilism route. Maybe one of the converted machines was a soon-to-be mother prior to their soul transfer, and now they have naught but a void of despair and hatred where a child was supposed to be. They come across a happy little village and now operate on the idea of, "if I can't be happy, no one will be." Their fully weaponized body descends upon the village at night with the intent of annihilation. That's what I'm doing in my campaign, at least. Go ahead and use it if you want and it works for your story!
