Hiya folks!

I thought I'd pop by to ask ya a question. I'm slowly working on doing a bit of merch and the simplest thing to do is prints for the comic. Just need to freshen up the pages a bit and edit some mistakes and typos before I make them available for purchase.

Now, I don't have the time and energy to handle ALL of printing and shipping so I've looked into print on demand services. Right now I'm leaning towards Redbubble, heard some mixed reviews and opinions from both buyers and seller but overall they are positive. I created a prototype that I've ordered from Redbubble to check out the quality myself, so let's see how that goes.

Anyway, onwards to my question to you!

When I'm putting my comics out there for people to buy art prints of, should I just upload ALL of my comics or a selection of the "best" ones?

That's all for now!

Peace and carrots!

I'd generally lean towards a selection of the best, but maybe stay open to requests. Depends how hard it'd be to add them later

Richard Riley

I would generally agree with Nathan - but my opinion is less relevant as I'm rarely a buyer of such merch.

Desiree Gawel

I'm far more interested in things like mugs and notebooks, so either way, hoping to see those available. :)

Party Grin

A Bucket bobblehead would be neat

Joukyuu

I'm partial to pick-your-panel posters.

Joukyuu

With Action-Brick-Onna-Rope!

Tsuris

And you bonus cup of chamomile tea you can swap out with the brick to suit your mood

Tsuris

I'd say all of them if it isn't too much work for you, then people can choose their favourites

SFZero

If it isn't too much work all would be awesome. But if choosing the "best of" maybe hold a poll to see what comics people want?

theWeeklyRoll

If I go down that road I'll be sure to be open to requests! I'm planning on cleaning them up anyway but putting up 70+ comics might be a quite a workload!

theWeeklyRoll

Duly noted! I'll prolly start with prints and maybe move on to some other merch later. Would you prefer to have the comics on mugs/notebooks or more original designs?

theWeeklyRoll

Ngl, adding a chamomille tea pack if I ever make a mug with a Becket print on would be fuckin hilarious!

theWeeklyRoll

If I go down the road of picking a select few I'll have a poll or two to see which ones people think will be the most appreciated and then be open to requests/suggestions to add additional ones!

Aiurwarrior1

I love having mugs too! I'd probably prefer other designs for a mug, since a comic would end up pretty small. Maybe portraits of the characters in the party!

Desiree Gawel

I need me a Bucket mug. But I'm just happy to have any selections!

SquirlRanger

I don’t know you, but you’ve made me laugh, so that makes us friends. I’ll buy anything to support a friend. That being said, I’m partial to stickers. I’d plaster brick on a rope stickers everywhere.

Novels by Mecanimus

I feel like there is a continuity between the pages, would it not be a shame to miss some of the pannels? Anyway link when it’s ready!

Pork Chop

I’d like to see whole comics but some single panels would be great. I would love a blown up brick smite or the lycanthrope tortle.

Al

if it's not too much of a hassle, then popping them all on would be easier all round in the long run. That said, have you thought about small designs that aren't comic panels? Stuff like a line-up of characters, brick on a rope around a sword a la snake around a dagger, individual portraits with sayings, that sort of thing. If it works across wearables and non-wearables, even better!

theWeeklyRoll

It's something I'm considering for sure! Bit more fun merch types, got some ideas already but I like the sword n' brick idea!

theWeeklyRoll

Adding stickers to the list of things that people would enjoy! And thank you kindly for your support buddy!

Al

Good to hear bud, looking forward to it!

Dunno what it takes to get set up with them, (or if they handle PoD), but TopatoCo is a great site that I've bought prints of comics from before. Just tossing out options. Also, being able to get high quality prints of other things (like the patreon sketch requests, or little one-offs you've done) would be awesome

> brick on a rope around a sword a la snake around a dagger I would buy a t-shirt with this in an instant!

Marek Marecki

A couple of April Fools merch ideas: a branded bucket, and a brick on a rope ;-)
