Hello Patrons,

You now have exclusive early access to the new episode of the Napoleonic Wars - Friedland 1807. I hope you enjoy!

It's a bit of a beast, a full 20 minutes of non-stop Napoleonic action, which covers Napoleon's 1807 campaign in Poland, the role of Marie Walewska, the Battle of Eylau... the Battle of Friedland, the Treaty of Tilsit AND the Continental System. (And I hope you like the Tilsit geese).

Thanks again for your support. As ever feel free to share any comments and feedback. Next up, Napoleon gets a Spanish Ulcer...

Eylau was Napoleon's bloodiest battles?! What about Borodino?

EpicHistoryTV

Borodino was certainly bloodier. There's a line in the video about Eylau being 'one of the most brutal' - is this what you mean? I was alluding to the very high proportion of casualties on both sides, plus the fact that many of the wounded were essentially left to freeze to death.

Well I heard Borodino was the worst out of all battles Napoleon was but we still have a few more videos till we get there. LOL
