Here's the link to the new video on YouTube, if you haven't had a chance to watch it yet. This video goes public tomorrow pm. The sponsor for this one is Audible, and (#ad!) if you're thinking of getting into audio books, do give them a try using this link. They have a huge range of history titles (Antony Beevor's Stalingrad, for instance), plus everything else you can think of.

I'm currently deep into the research for the next video, Napoleon's invasion of Russia, and will be back with updates soon.

Cossack prisoner to Napoleon: “If Napoleon had Cossacks in his army, he would have been Emperor of China long ago."

In 1812 French forces in Spain were severely overstretched, as Napoleon withdrew the best troops for his invasion of Russia. Wellington saw an opportunity to strike. First he secured the strategic fortress-cities of Ciudad Rodrigo and Badajoz, both taken in bloody assaults, then advanced to Salamanca, where his Anglo-Portuguese army met Marshal Marmont's French army in one of the most decisive clashes of the Peninsular War. My top 3 ideas are : 1st WW2 done similar to WW1 (year per year) 2nd Roman Empire done similar to the Napoleonic Wars 3rd History of Western Colonial Empires (1492-1960 ish)

EpicHistoryTV

Thanks Gabriel. These are good ideas, remember to mention them again when I make a post about the next series and the poll.
