Just a few sneak peeks at the Retreat from Moscow video, which is now in production. Hoping to get this one finished before Christmas. So far I've burnt down Moscow, and Sergeant Bourgogne of the Imperial Guard has stuffed his pack with sugar, rice and loot as he begins the retreat... More soon!

I was waiting for Borodino battle video so long that when it came, I thought it’s the end of the story! Than I was googling retreat from Moscow info for hours before going to bed. This is a little suprise, my goodness, story is still on 🤗♥️

Absolutely, as you will have found out, the retreat is one of the most dramatic and horrifying episodes of the wars, had to have its own video..

I swear, Napoleon had some of the most bad-ass subordinates in his Marshalls/Generals. Ney, Murat, Oudinot, Rapp, Davout...list goes on. Napoleon was a gifted commander but success at that scale can't be achieved alone.

💯% agree! Very different to what happened to Napoleon's III Marshals and Generals who were mostly incompetent. That's one of the reason why The Second French Empire fell to The Prussians in 1870.
