Dear Patrons,

A happy Friday to you all, I hope you are keeping well, safe and warm wherever you may be.

A quick EHTV production update - here you can see world-exclusive first peaks at our Apollo Program series, which will be blasting off (plenty more space puns to come!) at the end of January. As you can see, it's going to be a great looking series, packed full of detail about one of the most remarkable scientific projects in history.

While new friend of the channel James Malcolm finalises the Apollo series, I'm working on the final two episodes of the Napoleon's Marshals series, which will be out in late Jan/Feb. All of the last six Marshals (Berthier, Davout, Lannes, Ney, Soult, Suchet) are major figures of the Napoleonic Wars, and each is getting a fairly comprehensive treatment (8-10 mins, which means a lot of research and writing). The usual screenshots and teasers / clues will follow when available.

Thank you again for your brilliant support! Until the next update..

We all really appreciate your hard work Toby!

I'm looking the look and style for the new Apollo series, I just know it's going to be a great watch, and this maybe the series that will finally push the channel to over one million subs. I can't wait to find out about the last six marshals, we've seen them become more and more prominent in the later parts of the Napoleonic Wars Series, but I know there is more to their achievements and characters than just the battles themselves. Are the videos about Napoleon's Enemies still on the agenda once you've finished with the Marshals?

EpicHistoryTV

Thanks Lysaniel. Napoleon's Enemies is on the back-burner for a bit. After the Marshals series I'll do the 1813 Vitoria campaign, then there'll be a pause to take stock, and at some stage, a Patreon vote on next topics.

It'll be interesting to see how James Malcom approaches this, however, I am looking forward to the final Napoleon's Marshals episodes. I'm also happy to see that the Vitoria campaign will get some attention, since, I felt it was skipped over a bit, which was somewhat of a missed opportunity at the time. We'll see what the patreons vote for the next series of videos, it might be more Napoleon if that's hot, or if Napoleonic topics aren't there, maybe the second most popular topics will be selected. Looking forward to it either way. Keep up the good work Toby, Charles, and now James. Looking forward to see what James is made of. 😁 You all are filling a serious void in the history department on YouTube, making videos that are better in quality than all the content creators that I have seen so far on YouTube covering history. HistoryMarche does a good job, but a prefer Epic History. Cheers to you all, Anthony

Exciting times the space race is such an interesting topic and it's nice to see some branching out away from military history. Are you gonna be putting your foot down after Victoria and taking on your ww2 miniseries? Also what's been happening with salamis? Happy new year as well.

CJ Tabunda III

Looking forward for the Apollo series. But more that, for the final 2 episodes about Napoleon's marshals. I'm excited to see who would be Top 1.

CJ Tabunda III

I have a suggestion for future episodes. Since you already made episodes about the battles of the Napoleonic Wars, can you make episodes about the French Revolutionary Wars, that includes the Battles of Valmy, Jemappes, Fleurus, Neerwinden, the Spanish Front, Hohenlinden, and, most of all, Napoleon's first battles as commander of the Army of Italy. Excited for the in-depth discussion about his most celebrated victories such as Lodi, Arcole, Rivoli, Egypt and Marengo.

Astra Solace

I know I may be beating on a dead horse here Toby, but how about an update & revision to the 1815 Waterloo campaign? It's been 5 years and Napoleon's last battle deserves a video that fits with the more immersive dramatic style of the more recent Napoleonic vids.

Astra Solace

Yea, but there's also the 1796 & 1800 Italian campaigns, as well as the 1798 Egyptian campaign too. They are all unique

Astra Solace

This too, alongside an update to the 1815 Waterloo campaign. Honestly from the American Revolutionary Wars all the way to the Napoleonic Wars, there's still a whole lot of content to cover!

EpicHistoryTV

Thank you Anthony. Yes it was always the intention to circle back and the do the Vitoria campaign, if there was enough interest.

EpicHistoryTV

Happy New Year Stuart. Salamis is on pause, but will be out sometime this spring/summer. Can't answer the other question yet, will have to see where we stand post-Vitoria!

EpicHistoryTV

I can certainly return to cover some of these campaigns in future, but at some stage I will need a break from the French Rev and Napoleonic Wars!

EpicHistoryTV

It's unlikely at the moment, I'm afraid. With the limited time available, and so much more to cover, I'd rather take on new topics. But never say never... It could certainly be expanded and updated.

CJ Tabunda III

Understandable. Keep making excellent historical content. Your video on famous Viking deaths is very nice 👍

Babatunwa Aderinokun

Looking forward to this!!! as much as I love Napoleon, i'm craving for content on some new topics so this is is very much welcomed :-)

EpicHistoryTV

Yes it's a nice break for all of us! I hope you'll enjoy it.

Yousef Alghadouri

You can never go wrong with the Napoléonic wars!😅 I hope when you are rested enough you can make a series about napoelon’s italian campaign

EpicHistoryTV

Thanks Yousef, I think it's very likely at some point!
