Dear Patrons,

A quick update on forthcoming videos. In the pipeline, we have HMS Victory, Belisarius and 1848. But focus now is on the Battle of Salamis, which will be out in late August, just in time for its 2500th anniversary.

(Interesting sidenote - many organisations, including the Greek postal service, celebrated this anniversary in 2020, apparently forgetting there is no year 0 between 1 BC and AD 1!)

I attach a few exclusive preview shots to get you in the mood. It's another video that will be packed with information, including a discussion of Herodotus, 'Father of History', a guide to the trireme warship which dominated the Mediterranean for so many years, plus all the strategy and tactics leading up to the battle - often described as the most significant naval battle in history.

Quick merch update for those not on social media - I've created a poster version of our  Alexander the Great campaign map, which is now available from our merch store using this link (as Patrons, many of you will be entitled to discounts).

More updates soon, and thank you again for all your support!

Can't wait. I'd love to see a series on the Peloponnesian War though. There's just so much action, so many dramatic battles/operations (think Sicilan Expedition, First Mantinea, Arginusae, Sphacteria), and so many colorful characters (think Alcibiades, Cleon, Brasidas, Lysander) that I believe it has the potential to be an epic Epic History series 😉... á la Napoleonic Wars. Have you ever thought about putting such an awesome project in the pipeline?

Is the campaign map available for purchase for use as a desktop wallpaper?

Seriously, why the hell would anyone go to a university for history lessons when we have Epic History TV??? It's informative & entertaining & it doesn't cost an arm and a leg! Keep it up guys!!
