Dear Patrons,

It's been a while since you last heard from me so I've put together a little newsletter...

1. I've just released a compilation video of all 5 episodes of World War One. So if you REALLY, REALLY LOVE animated maps, you can watch the entire war unfold in 65 minutes of seamless action. (There's another reason for doing this, which is that YouTube is rumoured to treat very long videos slightly differently, which means this version may reach a new audience).

(NB there's no Patreon charge for this video, since it's not really new work).

2. Epic History TV is now on Instagram, so if that's your thing, you can find me posting maps and historical images at epichistorytv.

3. History of Russia Part 5 is currently under construction. This will take us up to the Russian Revolution and the cusp of the Soviet era, which I thought was a good point to stop and consult you, dear patrons, on what you'd like to see next. So there will shortly be a follow-up post with voting options for all $2+ patrons. Stay tuned, and thank you all once again for your amazing support.

The Bay of Pigss & The Cuban Missile Crisis for me!

How about the siege of Jerusalem of Roman-Jewish war? It's something of a little different flavor yet super epic that doesn't have a whole lot youtube coverage. If you can cover it like how you did WWI, I can't even imagine how crazy we fans will be.

The Gallic wars! Ceasars campaign in Gaul.

That's a great idea, and it's an incredibly dramatic moment in history. Might wrap it up into something more general about the Jewish Revolt, or the Flavian emperors. Will definitely be offering some Roman options in the near future.

It says “ this video is private and sends me to you tube where there is nothing about WW1 where it lands you. Second try second fail.. ok back to another… always liked the Vikings… here goes try 3 from a new consumer just trying to learn some history giving feedback and I swear not insults.
