RealCam v3.5 - Preview (Patreon)

Hi all,

The feedback on RealCam v3 has been good, and a lot of people are enjoying the new camera-style direction.

However, some users also prefer a more natural and balanced look, so I wanted to prepare an update that keeps the RealCam v3 idea but makes the image cleaner and easier to use.

RealCam v3.5 includes a full colour adjustment and a few effects dialed in for a more natural look across different maps, trucks, lighting, and weather conditions.

The update is planned to release over the weekend.

I’m sharing a few preview pictures above.

I did one trip with RealCam v3. Environment during Overcast and rain looked great. In sunny conditions I found the colors looking a bit over saturated. A more balanced and natural look in those circumstances would be what I prefer so great news for v3,5.

This blur effect is terrible. I don't understand why you're pushing it so hard. Also, with the settings for snowy, I'm experiencing texture shimmering. I'm cancelling subscription.

I just cant find a shader I like. Not sure if its my monitor, but all of them look kinda grainy and strain my eyes

Hey, yes if youre using sharp presets on lower resolutions then yes they will be grainy. I would advise using the smooth ones instead of sharp ones and also reducing sharpness to the level you want

Hey, flickring itself is not preset induced so you might need to look at your aliasing options

Hello, the stable release of DLSS 5 is scheduled for September 4. When the RealCam V3 ReShade preset is updated this weekend, will it ship with simultaneous DLSS 5 support?
