this scene went through the chipper several times. one version of the scene diverged at the line "why do you like me?":
sugar: god, why do you like me??
lola:
lola: i, ha-hate myself, that's why.
sugar:
sugar: so i'm. because i'm bad for you.
lola: no...
lola: we're opposites. i hate everything about me, but you, i.
lola:
lola: everything i hate about me, is everything you aren't.

that's as far as the scene got before i decided this wouldn't be a scene with a question.
