Baltimore is 60.7% African American, I dont blame people for not going considering her past tweets. When I worked in Target cafe, I would prep those pizzas so I feel like I must share lol. They were Pizza Hut personal pizzas. We would pull out frozen dough discs the night before and let them rise overnight in the oiled deep dish pans. We then took a press to the center, topped them and cooked them fresh. That's why they are so good!

OMG! My favorite past time with the fam was going to Target, getting an icee with some popcorn and roaming the aisles. A little before Covid a lot of the Starbucks in Houston either turned the “food court” into a Pizza Hut or was just shut down. They should totally bring it back cause it would slay now

not sure if trish/oscar/moses will see this but hopefully it can be educational to others! i wanted to comment on the homelessness convo they were having on the pod about why many homeless people don’t want to go to shelters. (preface with the disclaimer that obviously there are a lot of different reasons depending on each individual’s circumstance so i don’t intend to generalize) sadly most shelters are an extremely dangerous place. many people are victimized in shelters because the violence goes often unchecked. rape, assault, murder, etc. this is especially bad because a lot of unhoused people are already in a vulnerable position and don’t have family/friends/other support to protect them or get justice which makes them targets. there can also be danger for those with health problems involving issues of cleanliness and the spreading of sicknesses. another reason is that many shelters separate by genders so families are split apart. people don’t want to be separated from their opposite gender child, significant other, family, friend, etc. which is understandable since they are already so isolated and want to stay with the community they have. many shelters also do not allow you to bring all of your belongings. many people want to keep want little they have left whether it’s sentimental items, personal care, clothes, supplies for surviving on the streets, etc. many of them have jobs too, which is another factor since some shelters are in “out of sight” areas far away from where they work. my family (+extended family and friends) cooks dinners for unhoused neighbors around our area every single night for the last 3ish years. it was really nice to hear that trish was looking around for a homeless person to give her extra food to. we also talk and get to know them to hear their stories and learn about what they need. we distribute things like bus passes (especially for them to get to cooling centers during the summer months), clothes, shoes, personal care items, blankets, water bottles, etc. we get donations from a few stores too (so disappointing when places refuse and throw out so much food). moses rightly pointed out too that a lot of them have relationships with store owners to stay behind the store. in our area they have to hide (in bushes, behind dumpsters, etc) from police because the police often rough them up (honestly an understatement) and take all of their belongings. it’s beyond heartbreaking and infuriating. we know their spots and yell from our car window to give them dinner.

I don’t think you can compare “what I eat in a day as a fat person” to restrictive eating. Fat ppl should be allowed to exist without constantly being on a diet: some ppl are naturally bigger and won’t lose weight unless they are under eating.
