I love you guys but.... Oscar really is in a bubble. Most country singers are most likely conservative or right leaning.. also we don't even know who Carrie Underwood voted for! She performed for Trump because that made sense, she's a country singer and it's a huge opportunity whether you like Trump or not. And Tate McRae making music with Morgan Wallen is probably because he's HUGELY popular! (From what I have heard he's insanely talented and popular with country fans tho I admit I don't listen to much music these days lol). And lastly, I watch Paul American, Joe Rogan, and Just Trish! I get where you're coming from that people are allowed to like a diverse range of people and creators. However, just because you aren't bothered by someone's choices doesn't mean that other people have to or will brush it off too. We are in a crazy time right now where unfortunately hate is so strong towards marginalized communities. As a part of that community, it's hard to separate the art from the artist when they see you as a second class citizen or don't believe you deserve the same amount of rights simply because of parts of your identity. I think it's completely fair to not support these kind of artists especially at this point in history.
