I think with what Oscar was saying about sex scenes is that a lot of the time movies in early 2000s had sex scenes specifically for the male audiences gaze it would have sexual scenes exclusively with women (julia fox in transformers) that really added nothing to plot only appeased men

I actually hate Mr. Beast but bc im engaged to a man who was born in India, I recently visited his family in India. The customs are much different there and most people who can, have a person who cleans and sometimes that person even lives with them for so many days a week. I bring this up bc many apartments have this same system. A locking system where staff can enter only certain areas of the home, such as laundry room or even just the kitchen. I know it sounds foreign but its pretty normal there.

Here’s my take that no one asked for on the MrBeast situation. I can understand how his wife wants a sense of normalcy in her home. When you’re constantly surrounded by staff it’s hard to feel normal and comfortable in your own home. whenever I have people doing maintenance at my house I typically go to my room and just wait till they’re done not out of a lack of respect for the people doing the work just because I’m an awkward person and I just feel more comfortable in my home when it’s just me and my family there. but on the flip side of things if she wants a sense of normalcy, there’s really nothing normal about clean laundry just appearing in your closet or your fridge being stocked every single day. and I would say she should just go do it herself, but I’m sure people might recognize her. There’s probably some safety concerns involved with that. but I was also thinking like the way they designed their house it’s like are they OK with people just essentially living in their walls.
