As someone who grew up a lil broke and also does interior design, I couldn't disagree more. It's so fun to share little thrift finds or bargains because it lets people know that things don't need to cost an arm and a leg to look nice! And we don't need to buy everything brand new. While Oscar's furniture is still out of my price range, I found my bedhead, coffee table, rug, side table, artwork and lamp all on Facebook Marketplace between $50-$200 per item, and I love how everything turned out.

I’m so happy for Oscar. You guys flourish each other’s lives in beautiful ways, Oscar is a consistent and kind friend and Trisha is a break from work and a source of happiness for Oscar. I just wanted to share some happiness on my end. I graduated 2023 and did two years of college— which was postponed because of mental health issues and hospitalizations. Trisha has really helped me pull through this past year, dealing with bpd and lacking genuine relationships and self image issues. This community is so supportive and sweet, Moses always gives credit to the fans, and Jimmy always makes us laugh between the jokes. I’m so grateful to be on the patreon and have access to a world where people are just like me, which I wouldn’t see without social media.
