we talk about the struggles of being bi-sexual, then get into my worst sex of the week and why I'm over casual sex, answer your questions, and then I have a full on real breakdown about why I can't get over this breakup with Jason (on a judgement free platform - cause no one can accuse me of doing this for views as it's behind a pay wall)

I really hope you find a healthy better man, I thought I never would after my 5 year breakup and lived with him and picked out baby names... but a year later I finally found the love of my life who treats me so much better

Not going to lie that was a little hard to listen to. Five years ago my husband of 11 years asked for a divorce seemingly out of nowhere. I was devastated,I couldn't function. It took years to get over. I relate so much to your pain. It was a greaving procesd for me and it came and went. Trust the process❤ god has a plan for you.

Hey Trisha, just wanted to say I love these podcasts! I’ve been a long time fan of yours, almost since 2011! I know these type of comments may be hard for you to read but I come from a place of support and nothing else. I completely understand how you continue to talk about Jason, and why this time round, for the first time ever, it’s so hard for you to move on/ forget/ get over it... it’s bc you were INLOVE! I personally have been through many relationships where I thought I was inlove, but turns out I wasn’t. It wasn’t until I met the absolute love of my love and had my heart broken that i truly knew what being inlove felt like. This might be bitter to hear, but you will feel this way about Jason forever. That’s the thing about true love, it never ever goes away no matter how long it’s been. You might no longer feel heartbreak, or feel that emptiness in your soul, but you will forever miss him and love him. That might sound so sad, but not everyone gets to experience real love like this. Forget all those who tell you to get over it or stop talking about him, you can talk about him for the rest of your life if that’s what YOU want!!!!

Trisha, I recently ruined an almost two year relationship with my boyfriend by becoming extremely emotionally distant for some reason. Months later, I cannot get over the incredible times we spent together and completely mind blowing sex that I know I’ll never find from someone else. We are talking again but I know he is still hurt and reluctant to accept me because of the mistakes I made, which are painful for the both of us. I tried to do rebound relationships and hookups and it only left me craving him more. What do I do?
