Wayward #15 - Full Script (Patreon)

A major battle and a twist ending, Wayward #15 took things in an unexpected direction and sets up the second half of the big story.

As always, Steven and Tamra illustrated the hell out of the issue. Having an art team that can handle the heavy lifting on both action and drama is such a joy. I can write really intense material and feel confident knowing that they have the storytelling for it well in hand and that both the broad and subtle stuff will end up on the final pages.

Ryuusenji Temple is another one of those locations that really exists but I didn't get a chance to visit until after I'd written the scenes that take place there. As I wandered the serene temple grounds that felt both familiar and strange, I felt a tiny bit guilty about the destruction we caused there in our story.
