Klonoa Webcomic: Outline and Scripts (Patreon)

Back in 2012-2013 the UDON studio worked with Namco-Bandai to create a series of webcomics based on some of their video game properties to see if they could be reinvigorated for a new generation of fans.

I ended up writing quite a few of them, including Klonoa. Klonoa is not well known in North America, but several games have been released over the years and it's become a cult classic.

Klonoa has had several different/conflicting storylines and my eventual goal with this webcomic was to merge them all together into one with all of the characters and worlds available to our hero. I wrote the story and it was illustrated by manga artist Hitoshi Ariga (Mega Man Megamix) and Jeff "Chamba" Cruz (Street Fighter II Turbo) with colors by Espen Gruntejern.

Unfortunately, Namco's webcomic project shut down before we had a chance to finish the story, but it was a ton of fun to work on while it lasted.

Attached is the outline for first season (strips 1-26) and the scripts for season 1 and 2 (strips (1-65).
