Infinity Countdown: Champions #1 - Full Script (Patreon)

This week saw the release of two Champions issues, our regular issue #21 and the first of two Infinity Countdown special issues.

When editor Jordan White approached me about writing these issues, I told him I was up for it, but only if we could make sure it was important to the Champions. I didn't want these two tie-in issues to feel like a cash grab or unnecessary to the ongoing story of the team. If we were going to do it, then we should do it well and make it worth our readers' time and money.

It worked out really well. Snowguard joins the team and is now on board as they head into space for this big mission. Major character stuff will be happening in issue #2 that propels us forward with Champions #22+ and that's the way it should be.
