I just finished putting together 50+ pages of back matter for the Wayward Deluxe Book 3 hardcover (arriving in May) and thought I'd give my patrons a sneak peek at the most time-consuming page I put together, a map of locations in Tokyo we used in the series.

I used Open Street Map, the open license wiki map so w wouldn't have to worry about legal problems with Google Map or other proprietary maps and Steven helped me pin locations I wasn't 100% sure about.

Grounding Wayward in real Tokyo was a really neat challenge and I thought you might like seeing this bit of back matter ahead of release. Enjoy!

Hey Jim, Can you talk a little bit about how the conversation went when you were first asked to work on a Marvel book? Was it a situation where they said hey we read your work on Skull-Kickers or Wayward and we were wondering if you would like to put together a pitch for x,y, or z OR did they approach it as is there a particular character you would like to write? Kind of a funny question but I am curious how these conversations get started and what best practices would be for a writer in that situation. Thanks as always.
