Thunderbolts #5- Full Script (Patreon)

Thunderbolts #5, our Civil War II tie-in issue, just arrived in stores last week so I figured it would be good to get this script up for you to read.

This is the first time I've worked on a major crossover event like this and the sheer number of moving parts involved meant I had to write #6 before #5, tying them together tightly so they could be drawn simultaneously by two different artists. It was a lot of work but I'm proud of how well they turned out.

I feel that a crossover should be a worthy part of an event and also help propel the regular series story forward and that's what we did here. Marvel didn't insist that I had to bring Thunderbolts into CW2, so it was nice to propose a tie-in that worked well for the series and the overall event. Giving Jon the chance to draw Spidey at the same time made it even sweeter.

Enjoy!
