Ultimate Spider-Man Magazine - Story 1+2 (Patreon)

A really fun assignment that the vast majority of people don't even know I was involved with. 

A couple years ago Marvel's Special Projects division asked if I'd be interested in writing a few short stories for Ultimate Spider-Man Magazine published in UK and Europe. These 11 page done-in-one stories are classic Spidey-style adventures using the visual style and characterization from the popular Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors cartoon. In the same issue where they publish the comic story they also have puzzles and games built around the story and villain.

Over two years I wrote 20 different Ultimate Spider-Man stories using a bevvy of Spidey villains and supporting characters. I learned a lot about how to make short focused stories with a beginning, middle and end, and worked with quite a few new artists at the same time. The vast majority of these haven't been published in North America, so they're way off the radar for most Marvel fans.

Anyway, each story had to go through approvals with Marvel editorial, the cartoon producers and the magazine crew so, even though they were pretty straight forward I had to formally 'pitch' each one. 

I've attached the one page pitch and script for my first two stories. The first one is Venom VS Spidey and Nova at Peter's school and the second is Electro battling Spidey and Iron Man.
